Wednesday!
We continued to celebrate Chinese New Year today making almond cookies, lanterns, banners and lucky money envelopes. A big thank you to Patrick's mom.....the activities went well due to her wonderful organization and help - making it possible for just the two of us to pull it off! It was really fun!!!!

Lots of New Year fun here~ gorgeous decorations, bunnies serious and goofy, and roving trucks with guys beating drums and jumping out in dragon suits doing their thing in front of certain businesses. Lots of orange peels left behind, but everyone's happy. You wear that mask so well, just like they do :)
Thank you for planning all of this. It's a fun way for the kids to learn other ways to celebrate the new year. I think the cookies were the best part - especially when it's fresh out of the oven! Happy New Year to you : )
