We had an assembly this morning to learn more about the Blakely 3 R's which are Reasonable, Responsible, Respectful. The teachers did three skits to represent the themes and I was lucky enough to be in one of them!
The "exercises" we did yesterday with Ms. Hanley were from Brain Dance, which is a great way to wake up our brains to get ready to learn. And it is fun.
Our favorite book of the day: Kid Tea, another great book about colors.
We had lots of fun with the Math Tubs...

Patrick told us that he learned the 3 R's but was only able to tell us one of them. After reading your post, I reminded him of the other 2 and the light lit up in his eyes and he said, "Oh yeah!".

Nita was so excited to go to school on Friday she didn't even say goodbye to me! Just hopped on the bus. Not even a wave :). Thanks for making school fun for her.
