Only a half of a day!


We were scientists today!  The kindergartners learned how to use an eye dropper - I demonstrated with a turkey baster and a tub of water, and they picked it up quite quickly!  After collecting the needed equipment they dropped a drop, or two, (or way more) of water on the surface of their redwood sample and particleboard sample, and then carefully (actually really enthusiastically) observed what happened next.  We discussed our observations and asked lots of questions.  The science word for the day was absorbed - and aren't they just..........
