Terrific Tuesday!

We started our day out with a quick trip to the front lawn of Blakely to observe a beautiful sight...

Our own Blakely toadstool!  Make me feel like I was in a story, complete with my classroom full of darling, little elves!  We came in, did a little "Bollywood" and using Handwriting Without Tears techniques, taught by Ms. Hanley, made our own mushrooms.

We had a visit during our journal time from Mr. Ande who noticed what good writers these kindergartners are!

We loved working with our Paper samples for science...

The rest of the day was filled with good books, dinosaur puppet shows, and lots of fun!

The kids were amazingly quiet while working on their journals! Such concentration and presence to their work : )

Love that mushroom! It doesn't look real; it's so pretty. And I love the zen music during journal time :)
