Thursday!

I just loved working with your oh-so-smart kindergartners today!  We talked some more about writing in our journals - how pictures tell stories.  It was fun using their journals to teach the concepts.  They love to share their ideas!

Tomorrow we will start the day off with a quick bathroom stop and then it's back onto a bus to head to the pumpkin patch.  Please send your children with hooded coats and boots if they have them - we may get rained on!

It is Silly Sock day tomorrow....send your little darling in unmatched socks if you can.  Of course we did have the discussion about people who ONLY have white socks....

Are you enjoying all of the chopped-up, taped together boxes that are coming home?  Your children love to make a variety of contraptions out of recycled items!

We continue to work on our "Bollywood" moves with Robin from the OT crew.  They are  teaching the Handwriting Without Tears curriculum each Tuesday and Thursday.

We read a fun book today titled "Aaaaarrgghh!  Spider!"  We also read a good book about pumpkins, "Seed, Sprout, Pumpkin, Pie" and the very scary book "The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything" - they loved it!  The best part of my day is watching their faces as they react to the books I read - so cute and sweet!
